Aajil Capital Obtains Investment Management License from the Capital Market Authority
Aajil Capital, based in Saudi Arabia, has obtained a license from the Capital Market Authority to engage in investment management activities in securities. The company has not yet commenced regulated activities and will begin operations after fulfilling the Authority's requirements. Aajil Capital intends to offer Sharia-compliant investment management services targeting investors in the small and medium-sized industrial enterprises sector in Saudi Arabia. Any offering of investment funds will be subject to the Authority's approvals. Aajil Capital plans to build its investment strategy by leveraging transaction data generated by its sister platform, Aajil, which provides raw materials to industrial enterprises on a deferred payment basis. Aajil has supplied materials worth 600 million Saudi Riyals, approximately 160 million USD, to manufacturers and contractors until August 31, 2026. The Board of Directors of Aajil Capital is chaired by Abdullah Al-Sheikh, while Faisal Chaudhry holds the positions of CEO and Chief Investment Officer.
