Anonymous wallet purchases 116,427 Hyperliquid coins for €8.5 million
An anonymous wallet has purchased 116,427 Hyperliquid coins worth approximately €8.5 million, according to blockchain researcher Lookonchain. The total value of the coins in the wallet is now around €137 million, and all coins are staked, making them not immediately available for sale. The unknown investor has built this position over eight months through Galaxy Digital. The identity of the wallet owner remains unknown, and it is unclear why the investor is buying more now or what their price expectations are. Hyperliquid is a trading platform that processes transactions directly on its blockchain. The coins are used for network security and to allow holders to vote on the platform. Due to staking, the coins are temporarily less sellable; it takes seven days before they can be transferred back to a trading account.
