Apple CEO Transition: John Ternus Succeeds Tim Cook
Apple will complete its CEO transition on September 1, with John Ternus succeeding Tim Cook, who will take on the role of Executive Chairman of the Board, continuing to engage with global policymakers and other matters. Ternus's primary task upon taking office will be to host Apple's fall product launch event on September 9, where new products including the first foldable iPhone and a smart display capable of recognizing speakers will be unveiled. Additionally, he will oversee product lines such as camera-equipped AirPods, smart glasses, home security systems, robotic display arms, and wearable cameras.
