Apple's Foldable iPhone Duo Launches at 15,999 Yuan, Available from October 23
Apple has launched its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, featuring a 7.6-inch inner display when unfolded and a 5.4-inch outer display when folded. It supports ProMotion, always-on display, and a maximum outdoor brightness of 3000 nits. The new device boasts a five-level titanium body, is IP68 dust and water resistant, and integrates Touch ID into the side button. It is powered by the 2nm A20 Pro chip, offering a 35% performance boost over the iPhone 17 Pro, and supports split-screen functionality for running two apps simultaneously. The iPhone Duo is equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera and an ultra-wide camera, allowing for selfies with the rear camera and real-time previews on the outer screen. With a dual-battery architecture, it supports up to 44 hours of video playback when using the outer screen. Available in Star White and Night Sky colors, storage options include 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB, with a starting price of 15,999 Yuan in China. Pre-orders begin on October 16, with official sales starting on October 23, launching in over 70 countries and regions, including China.
