Bittensor Enters Revenue Era, Annual Ecosystem Revenue Expected to Reach $28 Million to $35 Million
Bittensor has officially entered the revenue era, with 24 to 25 subnets currently generating actual commercial revenue. It is expected that the number of revenue-generating subnets will increase to 35 to 40 by the end of the year. The total annual ecosystem revenue is estimated to be between $28 million and $35 million, and it is projected to exceed $100 million by the end of 2026. Revenue is beginning to provide funding support for the token economy, with approximately 14 subnets having initiated revenue-driven Alpha token buyback programs, expected to reach 20 to 25 by the end of the year. Business activities are concentrated in three main areas: infrastructure, enterprise-level AI, and applied AI. The report notes that the criteria for measuring subnet maturity is shifting towards customer adoption rates rather than benchmark scores. Token releases are providing funding support for the first phase of Bittensor, and customers are beginning to fund the next phase.
