Coinbase CEO Predicts Growth in AI Agents, Stablecoins as Preferred Payment Method
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that the number of AI agents will continue to grow in the future, leading to an increase in the number of agents needing to make payments and transactions. He believes that as more AI agents require autonomous transaction capabilities, cryptocurrencies and stablecoins will become their preferred payment channels. Asset management giant BlackRock also pointed out that AI agents could become a major source of demand for stablecoins.
