Sahara AI Unveils ClawApp 2.0
Sahara AI has released ClawApp 2.0, which can run continuously on Mac. This application allows for the integrated management of custom AI agents, external tools, access permissions, and execution schedules. Users can create agents within the application and set the scope of resources, and once configured, the agents run continuously on the Mac. ClawApp 2.0 reduces management burdens by integrating the setup of models, instructions, skills, tools, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, permissions, and execution schedules. MCP is a communication standard used when AI models connect to external tools, allowing agents to interact with permitted resources. The continuous running feature is utilized for repeating designated tasks or processing according to schedules. However, it cannot be assumed that all data is processed internally on the device just because it is a native Mac application. Local AI is being reviewed by organizations that find it difficult to send sensitive data to external clouds, and the announcement did not include details about ClawApp 2.0's direct integration with crypto services. Currently, the main features include providing a Mac application, integrating agent components, restricting access resources, and continuous execution.
