Grokipedia Stops Processing Edit Requests Since April 24
xAI's AI-generated encyclopedia Grokipedia has stopped processing any edit requests since April 24, and it has been over three months now. The speed of processing edits was relatively fast before this, but all pending edits remain in "under review" status, with the system no longer approving or rejecting any modifications. Grokipedia's automated backend system phased out the submission of model-generated edits from mid-March to mid-April, after which all edit requests came from human users, entering a loop of unprocessed requests. Fact corrections submitted by users account for 97% of all submissions, with the system previously approving or adopting 76.5% of them. Approximately 480 archived snapshots of pages show no changes in the content before and after April 24. It is currently unclear whether xAI is preparing for significant revisions or has abandoned the project altogether.
