Hyperliquid's Open Interest Reaches $14.669 Billion
Hyperliquid's open interest has reached $14.669 billion, continuing to grow since surpassing $14 billion on September 4. This figure had dropped to approximately $4.76 billion in February, indicating a growth of about 210% over the past seven months. This increase has been gradual since March, without the rapid leverage buildup seen last October. Over the past 30 days, Hyperliquid has experienced a series of positive developments. On August 19, Coinbase announced that the Base app would begin using Hyperliquid's perpetual futures technology, connecting to over 290 perpetual contract markets. On August 20, Donald Trump stated that the CFTC is promoting Hyperliquid.
