Mechanic Dies After Jeep Overturns in Necochea

A 35-year-old mechanic, Santiago Duca, lost his life after a violent rollover while testing a Jeep on a beach south of Necochea. The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in an area near the Paso del Arroyo settlement. The vehicle crashed into a rock formation after the driver, who was speeding, lost control. Duca was ejected from the vehicle and suffered multiple severe injuries. Emergency personnel arrived quickly and performed resuscitation maneuvers on the beach, but he was transported to the hospital where his death was confirmed. He was well-known in the local community for his dedication to restoring and assembling 4x4 vehicles, which caused a strong shock among family, friends, and the automotive community.
