Ondo Stocks Launches Physical Conversion Feature for Stocks and Tokenized Assets

Ondo has announced that Ondo Stocks now supports the physical conversion between underlying stocks and tokenized stocks, as well as ETFs, and has introduced a primary market issuance channel through Alpaca's Instant Tokenization Network (ITN). Eligible institutions can mint corresponding Ondo Stocks tokens using existing stock assets, and can also redeem tokens for the corresponding underlying stocks; this process is completed through internal ledger transfers without the need for manual approval for each transaction. This feature is currently available only to institutions that have been approved by Alpaca, possess valid accounts with both Ondo and Alpaca, and have completed the relevant account opening and approval processes. It has been launched on Ethereum and BNB Chain.
