OpenCover Expands to Solana Covering Four Major Protocols Including Kamino and Raydium
OpenCover has announced the expansion of its risk coverage to the Solana network, with eligible positions now able to receive coverage. The first batch includes Kamino, Raydium, Orca, and Jupiter, with coverage scope, limits, and terms varying by protocol and position. Users in the Solana ecosystem can purchase coverage against risks such as smart contract vulnerabilities, oracle failures, liquidation failures, and governance attacks. Nexus Mutual has launched coverage projects for Kamino, Raydium, Orca, and Jupiter on Solana, covering nearly 90% of the funds in the Solana lending market, with lending deposits for Kamino and Jupiter exceeding $1 billion and $925 million, respectively. OpenCover stated that this launch marks the beginning of its expansion of risk transfer infrastructure on Solana, and it will collaborate with protocols, asset management firms, and liquidity providers to broaden the range of positions eligible for coverage.
