Procurement Prices for Pigs from July 20 to 26, 2026

The forecast for procurement prices for pigs by live weight from July 20 to 26, 2026, is 65-67 UAH. The forecast is based on an analysis of pork consumption, demand and supply, as well as factors affecting the meat industry. Prices in spring fluctuated between 80-82 UAH/kg, with the weighted average price on April 1 being 80.6 UAH/kg. The level of supply corresponds to current trading activity. On the German exchange VEZG, prices for pig carcasses are 1.40 euros/kg (71.63 UAH/kg), and for sow carcasses, they are 0.53 euros/kg (27.12 UAH/kg), excluding VAT. On the Polish exchange CennikRolnicze, the average price for live pigs is 4.00 zlotys/kg (47.27 UAH/kg), with a price range of 3.10-4.80 zlotys/kg (36.63-56.72 UAH/kg). Price dynamics worldwide: 1.58 euros/kg in the EU (-1%), 1.13 euros/kg in Brazil (+1%), 1.87 euros/kg in the USA (+0%), 1.33 euros/kg in Canada (+1%). The situation in global markets is heterogeneous: Latin America and Canada show positive dynamics, while the US and EU markets are stable.
