The Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Paul Atkins, stated on the X platform that the commission's proposal to allow electronic delivery is an important step in building a modern regulatory framework. He pointed out that in the era of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology, paper delivery should become a thing of the past, not the standard. On the same day, the SEC released the "Regulation E-Delivery," aimed at expanding the use of electronic delivery methods by issuers, broker-dealers, investment advisors, and other institutions to meet the information delivery requirements of federal securities laws.
