Serenity: Laser Demand Exceeds Supply, Benefiting Nvidia
Prefer us on GoogleDuring discussions with Stifel at ECOC 2026, Lumentum indicated that the demand for ultra-high power (UHP) lasers from Nvidia's Spectrum-6 CPO has significantly increased, and the demand for UHP lasers continues to exceed supply. Lumentum also stated that the NPO scale is larger than the CPO, and multi-wavelength external lasers will drive up the average selling price of products. Serenity also mentioned that Win Semi is expanding its continuous wave (CW) laser production capacity, with related products expected to be gradually launched in the second half of 2026 and potentially contributing significant revenue in 2027 and 2028.
