Shibarium's x402 Update Issues Warning on Fake TREAT Tokens
Mazrael from the Shiba Inu community has warned investors to be cautious, stating that over 366 tokens carrying the TREAT code have been found on the Ethereum network. He emphasized that different tokens with the TREAT code could open avenues for scammers. Investors should verify their assets not only by ticker but also by contract address. It was reported that the official TREAT token belonging to the Shiba Inu ecosystem exists on both Ethereum and Shibarium, with the relevant contract addresses shared. Additionally, it was announced that the x402 standard has been activated on Shibarium's layer 2 network. x402 is defined as an open standard developed for internet-based payments, designed to support low-cost, instant payment flows. Mazrael noted that AI agents can make payments using SHIB, TREAT, or wrapped BONE through this infrastructure.
