Strive CEO Aims to Increase Bitcoin Treasury Leverage Ratio to Over 60% This Year
Strive CEO Matt Cole stated that leverage ratio is a key factor driving total returns, with models showing that over 99% of the variation in total returns is determined by leverage, while capital costs have a minor impact. Strive's goal is to outperform Bitcoin by maximizing total returns for common shareholders, with a baseline scenario projecting an annualized compound growth rate of about 50% for Bitcoin by 2030. Cole hopes to raise Strive's leverage ratio to over 60% later this year, but achieving this goal will be more challenging if warrants are exercised or Bitcoin rises further in the coming weeks.
