Tether Freezes 218,022.97 USDT from Bitget Hacker Address

In the Bitget hacking case, Circle and Tether have responded by freezing funds. As of September 25 at 13:00 (UTC+8), Circle has frozen approximately 100,000 USDC; at 20:19 (UTC+8), Tether froze 218,022.97 USDT, involving the address 0xe07b...7d57. Monitoring shows that the attackers exchanged the stolen TRX in batches for USDT, typically staying at the control address for about 1 to 8 minutes before exchanging it for BTC through Stargate or directly into THORChain. Therefore, Tether's freezing window for the relevant USDT is relatively short. Currently, the remaining stolen funds have been exchanged for BTC or held in the form of ETH, DAI, and XRP, which cannot be directly frozen by the token issuers. If the funds subsequently enter centralized exchanges, custodians, or identifiable cross-chain services, they may still be intercepted through platform cooperation and judicial or law enforcement procedures.
