Traditional Asset Management and Family Offices Return to the Crypto Market with Transactions Reaching Billions of Dollars
Lin Chen, head of Asia-Pacific business at Deribit, stated that some traditional large asset management institutions and high-net-worth clients/family offices have recently increased their presence in the crypto market, with single transaction sizes reaching billions of dollars. These institutions mainly allocate through derivatives, particularly options combinations, to manage position risks and exposures. This type of client has re-entered the market after about a year of observation.
