User Claims 50 BTC on Solv Cannot Be Redeemed Long-Term
User @neillee99 has reported that approximately 50 BTC held in the Solv Protocol cannot be redeemed normally. The user stated that on July 8, 2026, they withdrew about 50 BTC from Binance, converting it to SolvBTC and BTC+, aiming to earn about 3% annual yield through holding BTC+. After the deposit, the minting and redemption functions for BTC+ were suddenly suspended. On July 13, a security incident occurred with BTC+, and the user inquired in the official community on July 18 and 20 but did not receive effective responses. On July 22, Solv Protocol publicly disclosed the incident, claiming that user assets were not harmed. On July 31, the project team announced that the relevant functions had been restored, and staff informed that redemptions could be initiated, but the user's address remained restricted, and the approximately 50 BTC corresponding assets could not be redeemed. The user stated that since July 31, they have been continuously communicating through the official Discord, Telegram, and email, submitting materials such as proof of funds, transaction records, and wallet control evidence, with about 60 emails exchanged between both parties, of which about 50 were sent by them. After contacting relevant personnel in September, they still did not receive effective responses. The user's demand is to lift the restrictions and restore normal redemption, and they call on Solv Protocol, Venus Protocol, and related investors to pay attention to the progress of the handling.
