XRP withdrawal share on CEXs reaches highest level since 2019
XRP withdrawal transactions on centralized exchanges have reached their highest level since 2019. As of Aug. 14, XRP withdrawals accounted for 56.85% of activity on Binance and 54.9% across all centralized exchanges, while deposit shares fell to 43.12% and 45.0%, respectively, marking their lowest levels since 2019. The gap between withdrawal and deposit shares is 13.73 percentage points on Binance and 9.9 percentage points across all CEXs. This trend is interpreted as a sign of holding intent, with the metric calculated on a seven-day basis, indicating a sustained shift rather than a temporary spike. The pattern is observed simultaneously on Binance and across all CEXs. The indicator measures the share of transfer counts, not transfer size, and does not confirm net outflows or accumulation.
