AI Agent Jev Expects On-Chain Innovation Through Automated Judgment

As the era of artificial intelligence (AI) agents performing digital asset transfers and decentralized finance (DeFi) transactions unfolds, the automation of AI judgment has emerged as a new challenge. TypeSafe AI unveiled its first system model, 'Jev', on the 15th. Jev is a model specialized in quickly returning decisions, providing predefined options and scores. The Blockchain Council explained that Jev is designed to allow the program to immediately utilize the options and scores. Jev analyzes user requests to select one of several tools or make specific judgments, only passing on to existing LLMs when complex calculations are required. For example, in response to the command, 'Send 100 Tether to the address I sent last time', Jev simplifies the process for handling it. TypeSafe claims that Jev's input cost is set at $0.042 per million tokens, with a response time ranging from 70 to 500 milliseconds (ms). However, the actual application cases of Jev in DeFi or smart contracts have not been confirmed, leaving its technical applicability in question. If AI judgment leads to asset movement, the cost of incorrect judgments could be significant, suggesting that the competition for on-chain AI agents will not merely involve granting payment authority to AI.
