Flop Labs Builds GPU Computing Power Exchange, Supports Purchasing Power with FLOP Tokens
Flop Labs is building a GPU computing power exchange that allows for the buying and selling of computing resources. The project is led by Arthur Hayes, and AI agents will purchase computing power from miners using FLOP tokens. Flop Labs points out that NVIDIA's quarterly data center computing power sales reached $89 billion, a 117% year-on-year increase. Currently, there is no standard pricing for GPUs, and users need to contact suppliers directly for quotes. On the Flop platform, validators will re-execute some completed computational work to verify the pricing basis used in transactions.
