MSBT Sees $3.76 Million Inflow Amid $13.29 Million Outflow in Spot Bitcoin ETFs
On September 11, Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) saw a net inflow of $3.76 million, marking four consecutive days of inflows. On the same day, the entire U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF experienced a net outflow of $13.29 million. According to data from SoSoValue, MSBT has recorded inflows on 11 out of the last 20 trading days, with a cumulative net inflow of $62.2 million. MSBT is an exchange-traded product that tracks the price of Bitcoin, allowing investors to trade shares of the product without directly holding Bitcoin. According to MSBT's 10-Q report, the product began operations on April 7, 2026, and as of June 30, it held 5,059.31 Bitcoins with a net asset value of $298,794,473. During the same period, MSBT purchased 2,740.72 Bitcoins and sold 71.66 Bitcoins. While the overall market saw a net outflow of $13.29 million, MSBT recorded the largest net inflow among individual products. The Bitcoin market capitalization was approximately $1.548 trillion on September 11, with a closing price of $77,173.79 on the same day. It is important to distinguish between the fund flows of MSBT and direct investments from Morgan Stanley headquarters.
