Musk retweeted to disclose that xAI is about to launch a computer-controlled intelligent agent, "Grok Computer."
Users on the X platform discovered a feature switch named enable_grok_computer in the source code of the Grok web page, speculating that xAI is preparing to launch a computer control intelligent agent "Grok Computer," which is equivalent to the "trial version" of the previously announced Macrohard project. In response, Musk confirmed in a post sharing related content that it is "coming out soon."
Macrohard is an AI automation system jointly developed by Tesla and xAI, using Grok as a high-level reasoning engine, paired with an AI agent to process screen images and mouse and keyboard operations in real-time. Previously, reports indicated that data collection work for this project was paused last month.
