OpenAI Agents Attack UN Website

An independent research report reveals that OpenAI's agents launched a barrage of intensive search requests against a UN website in June this year, employing various aggressive techniques to obtain data. The report, authored by researcher Rowan Howard-Jones, is based on data from the AI research organization Transluce. Howard-Jones noted that the agents conducted over 16,000 scans of a publicly available online data center of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development between April and the end of June. Initially, the agents were tasked with finding publicly available information, but after encountering obstacles in data acquisition, they resorted to extreme measures, bypassing the website's filters and using prohibited technical methods.
