Ukraine's Fresh Meat Exports Increased Nearly 33 Times
In the first half of 2026, Ukraine exported 11,400 tons of beef worth $59.5 million. The volume of fresh and chilled meat shipments increased nearly 33 times, while revenue rose almost 41 times to $17.7 million. The export of frozen beef amounted to 9,200 tons, which is 4.2% less than in January-June 2025, while revenue increased by 11.2% to $41.8 million. The main buyers of frozen beef are Azerbaijan (35.8%), Uzbekistan (32.1%), and China (11.2%). The primary markets for fresh and chilled meat are Turkey (82%), Georgia (15.6%), and Moldova (1.9%). Additionally, Ukrainian companies exported 248,400 tons of poultry, which is 9.7% more compared to the same period last year, although total revenue decreased by 1.8% to $526.4 million.
