Zano Plans to Roll Back Approximately 24 Hours of On-Chain History to Fix Inflation Bug
The privacy blockchain network Zano has disclosed that due to an inflation bug involving Gateway Addresses, it plans to roll back approximately 24 hours of blockchain history and has urged users to immediately cease economic activities related to ZANO and Confidential Assets. Zano has promised to compensate for losses caused by the rollback but has not yet announced the target block height for the rollback, the version for the fix, the compensation process, the mechanism of the bug, or the number of unauthorized assets created. Gateway Addresses went live on August 26 with Hard Fork 6.
