Apple and Google Hire for Stablecoin Positions to Evaluate New Payment Financial Services
Apple and Google are hiring for positions related to stablecoins. On August 26, Apple announced a job opening for the Head of Financial Products Strategy for Apple Pay in the United States, covering medium- to long-term strategies and new growth directions for Apple Card, Apple Cash, and more. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and blockchain technology. On September 16, Google posted a job opening for an Industry Chief Architect in Hong Kong, responsible for supporting Google Cloud's Web3 and digital asset business in the Asia-Pacific region. This role requires assistance in designing a security and compliance framework that meets local regulations from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission, with preferred qualifications including experience in RWA tokenization, stablecoin payment networks, tokenized deposits, and digital asset custody.
