DeFi Researcher Says Meme Coins Should Be Traded Short-Term, Not Held Long-Term
DeFi researcher Ignas pointed out that meme coins belong to a "one-cycle trading" category, and investors should engage in short-term trading rather than long-term holding. WIF was a representative meme coin of the previous cycle, but its price performance and market attention have significantly declined. Once meme coins lose market attention, it usually indicates the end of the market trend. FARTCOIN is facing a similar situation. DOGE is one of the few exceptions that has crossed two cycles, but it is no longer a strong asset. The short lifecycle of meme coins is different from Bitcoin, which can continuously form new market narratives. Investors are reminded not to rely on long-term holdings of meme coins like ZCAT and CASHCAT.
