iPhone Expected to Increase in Price by $100 to $200
Renowned tech journalist Mark Gurman has stated that the iPhone is expected to increase in price by $100 to $200 (approximately 675 to 1350 RMB). Gurman pointed out that Apple is facing shortages of memory chips and main device processors, while the new camera system for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max is more expensive, and the design of the first foldable iPhone is also costlier. He believes that how Apple implements this price increase is crucial. Gurman mentioned that the recent price hikes for the iPad and Mac provide a reference, with several models seeing price increases of $100 to $200, and a similar increase is expected for the iPhone, with the starting price for the foldable iPhone likely to be at least $2000.
