Kazakhstan's Crypto Market Trading Volume Reaches $10.58 Billion, Web3 Ecosystem Enters Global Top Ten
Kazakhstan's regulated cryptocurrency market is expected to reach a trading volume of $10.58 billion by 2025, a significant increase from $320 million in 2023, with the number of users growing from 53,000 to 215,000. The country ranks among the top ten globally in the number of applications for the international Solana hackathon, with over 8,000 individuals completing training through the Solana ecosystem and more than 2,000 receiving certificates. Additionally, Kazakhstan has 57 Web3 startups that have received a total of approximately $262,000 in funding, and plans to complete the tokenization of real estate and logistics projects worth up to $60 million by the end of 2026, exploring the feasibility of digital assets as a new financing channel for the economy.

Global markets on September 22 focus on a repair in AI-compute pricing. On September 21 the three major equity indexes closed higher. AMD rose nearly 10% and its market cap crossed $1 trillion for the first time, while Intel and Arm also surged. Brent crude fell about 3.4% to $100.34 and the 10-year Treasury yield eased to about 4.96%, lowering discount-rate pressure on long-duration tech. Bitcoin briefly broke above $87,000 and total crypto market cap returned above $3 trillion. Investors next watch consumer and housing earnings plus PMI flash prints.
