Populous to Host RealFi x Asia Stablecoin Conference in Seoul on October 1
Populous, in collaboration with Paros and LayerZero, will hold the 'RealFi x Asia Stablecoin Conference' at the Andaz Gangnam in Seoul on October 1. The event will focus on the theme 'Understanding Diverse Asia,' concentrating on the stablecoin and tokenization business environments in major Asian markets including South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The conference will compare the market characteristics and institutional differences by country and examine the conditions necessary for local business development. The program consists of three main topics: ▲ Asia Today ▲ Misunderstood Asia ▲ The Next Phase of Asia. The first session will review the current market status and growth constraints by country, while the final session will discuss challenges for market expansion among financial institutions, developers, and policymakers. Approximately 30 sessions will be held, covering key agendas such as on-chain market participation, evaluation of digital assets in South Korea, and Japan's payment and token economy. Sponsors include S&P Dow Jones Indices, SBI DigiTrust, and Ant Group's Web3 wallet TopNode, with sessions dedicated to digital asset market participation and investment strategies. Populous's Chief Strategy Officer, Kang Hee-chang, stated that they will specifically examine changes in the Asian market and discuss collaboration challenges.
