Banco Nación refinanced nearly 90,000 clients in 2023
Banco Nación (BNA) has refinanced nearly 90,000 clients since January, with a total amount of 476 billion pesos across 102,505 operations. Of these, 64,249 transactions correspond to delinquent users, totaling 322.6 billion pesos; 36,424 are refinancings of credit cards in pre-default, amounting to 129.6 billion; and 1,832 are in pre-default, totaling 24.1 billion. The average ticket was 4.6 million pesos. Options include debt consolidation within the bank and with other entities, allowing the gathering of obligations up to 100 million pesos and 120 months, with rates of 12% or 14% TNA. Debt unification is also offered for clients with overdue installments, financing up to 100% of the consolidated debt. The regularization of debts in irregular situations has a term of up to 120 months and rates of 12% or 14% TNA. The refinancing of credit cards allows clients with up to 90 days of delay to refinance balances of up to 10 million pesos. Delinquency in the private sector reached a new high, with total irregularity rising from 7.63% in June to 7.73% in July, and delinquency in households increasing from 12.77% to 12.94%. Families refinanced debts amounting to about 2.6 trillion pesos, but delinquency increased in 23 of the 30 major financial entities.
