DeFi Lending Activity Surges to $26.1 Billion, Nearly 30% Growth
The active loan volume of mainstream DeFi lending protocols has risen from $20.1 billion in June 2023 to $26.1 billion in August, marking a nearly 30% increase over the summer. Aave leads with an active loan volume of $12.5 billion, capturing approximately 48% of the market share; Morpho ranks second with $5.1 billion; and Spark comes in third with $2.1 billion. The DeFi lending market continues to expand, reflecting a significant recovery in on-chain financing and credit demand.
