Pons Founder Clarifies Platform Does Not Support Tax Rate Modifications
The founder of Pons, Ozzy, stated that the claims circulating in the market about "Pons allowing tax rate modifications after issuance" are inaccurate. He pointed out that some trading terminals route trades to high tax rate pools, even though the liquidity in the pools initialized by Pons on Uniswap V4 is sufficient and the tax rate is 0% (only a 1% hook fee is charged, and all transactions are publicly disclosed). When malicious actors initiate a vamp (vampire attack) against that pool, the terminal may display an increased tax rate, and this number can fluctuate due to routing configuration errors and the different pools selected by the terminals, which does not indicate that the official pool tax rate has been modified. Ozzy has requested the relevant terminals to correct this issue, as it harms user interests and causes unnecessary FUD.
