Russian Law Enforcement Searches Cryptocurrency Exchange Office, Detains Dozens of Employees
Russian law enforcement officials conducted a search of a cryptocurrency exchange office located in the Federal East Tower of a business center in Moscow, in connection with a theft case involving 144 million rubles. The police stated that the funds in question are suspected to have been circulated through related exchanges, and they are tracking the transactions while investigating whether employees are involved. Dozens of employees have been detained, and a Moscow court has ordered pre-trial detention for eight of the defendants, while the procedural status of the remaining detainees has not yet been disclosed. During the search, the office temporarily ceased operations.
