$1.7 Billion Inflow to Bitcoin ETFs in Two Days
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States recorded over $1.7 billion in net capital inflow within two days. This influx coincided with Bitcoin's price surpassing the average purchase price estimated by investors. A net capital inflow into ETFs indicates that the incoming capital is greater than the outgoing capital in these funds. The total net capital inflow to U.S. Bitcoin spot ETFs exceeded $1.7 billion over the two-day period. These funds allow for Bitcoin trading through the stock market, and their capital flow is one of the data points of interest for market participants. Simultaneously, Bitcoin's price crossed the average purchase price estimated by institutional investors. A price above this level means that Bitcoin has surpassed the estimated cost basis of large holders. The combination of price growth and the return of capital inflow to ETFs could signal a renewed strengthening of institutional demand. However, maintaining a price above the average purchase range of ETFs is crucial for continuing this trend.
