Babylon TBV Completes Security Audit, Prepares for Aave v4 Mainnet Launch

The Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) protocol by Babylon has completed an audit conducted by the security auditing firm Runtime Verification, preparing for the collateralized lending of native Bitcoin on the Aave v4 mainnet. The audit took 7 weeks and was completed in May 2026, covering the vault lifecycle, atomic cross-chain deposit and withdrawal processes, as well as the settlement, lending, and liquidation logic in the Aave v4 integration. All issues identified during the audit have been addressed or confirmed within the remediation period.
