Cryptocurrency May Rise Faster Than Expected
The cryptocurrency market is projected to rise faster than expected due to the clarity of regulations and increased institutional participation. Jordi Visser, a macro investor with 30 years of experience, has opened the possibility of Bitcoin reaching $100,000. In an interview with Anthony Pompliano on September 12, he stated that cryptocurrencies could rise much faster than people think. Visser explained that conversations with traditional financial institutions are the background for this judgment, noting that banks are preparing for participation in the tokenization and cryptocurrency markets. When asked if Bitcoin could reach $100,000, he replied that it is possible if regulatory clarity is achieved. He pointed out that focusing solely on interest rates and oil prices misses the current trends, arguing that overly concentrating on whether to raise the benchmark interest rate is a flawed approach in a situation where corporate profits are growing by over 30%. Stocks related to AI and technological advancements were also presented as important grounds for market strength, with Visser explaining that AI models and tools are rapidly improving. He categorized market participants into static and dynamic thinkers, suggesting that sharp declines caused by short-term indicators could provide entry opportunities for long-term investors. He assessed that cryptocurrencies are at the beginning of a major bull market, asserting that the bullish logic for cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin remains valid in the long-term flow.
