River Predicts Bitcoin Price Could Reach $840,000 in 3-5 Years
River has projected that the price of Bitcoin could reach $840,000 within 3 to 5 years. According to analysts, one of the biggest catalysts for this prediction is Wall Street money. It is noted that the total pool of financial assets worldwide is approximately $333 trillion, with only a small fraction of that pool currently in Bitcoin. The adoption rate of Bitcoin in portfolios and how much of these portfolios will be allocated to Bitcoin is critical. If 20% of the $333 trillion pool is allocated to Bitcoin at a rate of 2%, approximately $1.3 trillion could flow into Bitcoin. A 30% adoption rate with a 3% allocation could lead to $3 trillion, while a 40% adoption rate with a 4% allocation could reach $5.3 trillion. River stated that the $840,000 prediction is possible if every $1 investment creates a $3 increase in market value. In a lower scenario, a $1.3 trillion capital inflow would raise the Bitcoin price to about $250,000, while in a higher scenario, a net inflow of $5.3 trillion could push the Bitcoin price to $840,000. These scenarios are expected to unfold between 2029 and 2031.
