Whale Ratio Drops to 0.39, Bitcoin Nears $80,000
The Exchange Whale Ratio has fallen to 0.39, indicating less selling pressure from whales. The SOPR is at 1, meaning that coins are moving close to their acquisition cost. Bitcoin (BTC) is trading near $80,000, but it has not repeated the setup observed at the bottoms of previous cycles, as the price has not fallen below the realized price of long-term holders (LTH). Joao Wedson, CEO of Alphractal, highlights this absence and questions whether we will see Bitcoin trading below the Realized Price of Long-Term Holders again. If that does not happen, a chart like this could become ineffective in this cycle.
